Long considered a premier Los Angeles area community, the city of West Hollywood includes the some of the finest aspects of classic Southern California living with an added air of prestige. Also known as WeHo, more than 35,000 residents call the city home in spite of it measuring less than two square miles in size. The oceanfront city of Santa Monica can be reached in less than half an hour in good traffic. Other communities that are close to West Hollywood include Brentwood, Holmby Hills and Century City.

The average high temperature is rarely lower than 65 degrees, and the coldest lows are generally higher than 45 degrees. July through September is usually the hottest and sunniest period with temperatures hovering in the 80s. The wettest month is usually January with average rainfall totals measuring just over three inches.
